Mercury Music Prize shortlisted...
Here in the UK it's Mercury Music Prize time again. Shortlisted this year are Arctic Monkeys for 'Tranquility Base Hotel + Casino', Everything Everything 'A Fever Dream', Everything Is Recorded 'Everything Is Recorded by Richard Russell', Florence + the Machine 'High As Hope', Jorja Smith 'Lost And Found', King Krule 'The Ooz', Lily Allen 'No Shame', Nadine Shah 'Holiday Destination', Noel Gallagher’s High Flying Birds 'Who Built The Moon?', Novelist 'Novelist Guy', Sons Of Kemet 'Your Queen Is A Reptile' and, also with our distributor INgrooves, Wolf Alice for 'Visions Of A Life'.
We'd be happy for Wolf Alice to win but our money is on Jorja Smith. She's had a fantastic year and her Somerset House show the other week a contender for gig of the year !
