One of my favourite ever tracks is Hans Zimmer 'Time' from the Inception soundtrack. Highly polished epically beautiful synthscore. Mogwai's new offering Donuts stands up to this, though the antithesis of Hans Zimmer, Mogwai deliver a wonderfully melancholic subtle yet euphoric, elegant in a fantastically lo-fi post-rock way.
