Mike D’s The Echo Chamber recently broke the 100 episode barrier. Here & Now spoke with the radio show’s producer to celebrate the impressive milestone spotlighting a few of many highlights.
Some of Here & Now’s all time favourite artists are Wu Tang Clan, Ennio Morricone and Dennis Bovell. Having radio shows dedicated to those artists is incredible. What are your more memorable Echo Chambers ?
“The one we did with E Ruscha V – Outer-National Disco Odyssey (Episode 95) it was the 1st time I saw Mike after a year because of the pandemic. Also Ice Cube and Mike met for the first time in Apple Music studios in LA. I love the Egon and Zamrock. Madlib’s one of my favourite producers. Egon is such a smart guy, I learn so much when I’m around him”
The Echo Chamber champion’s interests close to Mike D’s heart, his love of food, surfing, and of course music.
